Our Mission

Cognizant is an organization aims to educate and inform our society on ways to break down the social construct (gender inequality). To help and support women in their fight for liberty and equality in America, we strive to be a part of the change for woman’s equality and fundamental rights.

Our line of inquiry:

Is liberty is the ability to control his or her own body— and without this fundamental right, are you equal?

THESIS: Because of the lack of access to reproductive rights and gender inequality, women are not granted as much liberty as men. Therefore, women are unequal to men, resulting in an unjust society.

Liberty is the ability to control his or her own body and without this fundamental right, you’re not fully equal. Americans have idealized equality for centuries, however, men and women are still not on the same playing field. Women are constantly sexualized and treated unequally. Despite the injustices they face, women are resilient in their adversities, they fight for equality and build strength within themselves.
